About 364 Squadron

Picture
364 Lancaster Squadron is the only Air Cadet squadron in Windsor, Ontario. There are approximately 90 cadets in the squadron, making us the largest cadet unit in the area. We are based out of Windsor International Airport, in South Windsor. Regular training is on Tuesday nights, with band, drill and marksmanship practices on Sunday mornings.

The Air Cadet Program
The Royal Canadian Air Cadets is one of the three elements of the Canadian Cadet Movement (CCM), a national youth program for people aged 12-18. The aim of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets:
  • To develop in youth the attributes of good citizenship and leadership
  • Promote physical fitness
  • Stimulate an interest in the air activities of the Royal Canadian Air Force

These aims are accomplished through weekly training during the school year, summer training courses and through extracurricular activities.

The Canadian Armed Forces provides funding and training to the CCM with the help of the civilian sponsor, the Air Cadet League of Canada. Cadets are not members of the Canadian Armed Forces nor is there any requirement for military service.

This website is intended for use by the cadets and parents of 364 Lancaster Squadron, and prospective cadets and their parents, staff and Local Committee. The objective is to provide basic information about the function of the corps/squadron and to inform cadets, parents and the local community about the Cadet Program and various events that will be taking place.
