About 364 Squadron
364 Lancaster Squadron is the only Air Cadet squadron in Windsor, Ontario. There are approximately 90 cadets in the squadron, making us the largest cadet unit in the area. We are based out of Windsor International Airport, in South Windsor. Regular training is on Tuesday nights, with band, drill and marksmanship practices on Sunday mornings.
The Air Cadet Program
The Royal Canadian Air Cadets is one of the three elements of the Canadian Cadet Movement (CCM), a national youth program for people aged 12-18. The aim of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets:
These aims are accomplished through weekly training during the school year, summer training courses and through extracurricular activities.
The Canadian Armed Forces provides funding and training to the CCM with the help of the civilian sponsor, the Air Cadet League of Canada. Cadets are not members of the Canadian Armed Forces nor is there any requirement for military service.
