Summer Training Opportunities
All cadets have the opportunity to continue their cadet training into the summer by applying to summer courses. These courses range in a variety of disciplines, lengths of times and locations. Courses are delivered at Cadet Training Centres (CTC) throughout the country, although most of our cadets will go to CFB Borden's CTC Blackdown, CFB Trenton's CTC Trenton or the Regional Gliding School.
Summer training has two objectives. The first is to train cadets to meet the needs of the squadron. The second is for the cadet to learn new skills, meet new people and enjoy their cadet experience!
All are encouraged to apply, but since all summer training slots are competed for, unfortunately not all will be accepted. Attendance and Squadron performance are heavy factors in determining summer acceptance.
If you are interested in applying for a summer training course please check back often and read all the links in the section that applies to you.
Applications are to be submitted to the Administration Office. The OPI (Officer of Primary Interest) for summer training applications is Lt St-Jean, the Training Officer.
Information on this year's courses can be found here.
